This year instead of gifting wine to our clients CJS are really proud to donate to two charities very close to our heart, @dogstrust – £2,800 and @notodogmeat – £2,000!
Here is a little insight to each of these charities:
No To Dog Meat: This amazing charity fights against the cruel slaughter of all animals for food, fur and ‘traditional’ medicine. These poor animals are rescued from countries like South Korea and China and brought back to England to be cared for and provided a new lease of life! With our help we can aid this charity so that the animals in these horrible conditions can have resources like blankets to keep them warm in the cold. Every year millions of dogs and cats are stolen from loving families and brutally slaughtered.
The Dogs Trust: As you all may well know, The Dogs Trust are an incredible charity that help each and every dog is in distress and care for them. When a dog needs a home, they find them a loving family. While the dogs are in their care, they may stay at one of The Dogs Trust’s rehoming centers cared for by their expert staff, or in a dedicated foster home. The Dogs Trust always make sure the dogs have everything they need to get back on their paws while they get to work searching for their forever home.
